Coast Guard Medevacs Fisherman 180 Miles Off Pensacola
Coast Guard watchstanders received a report that the 70-foot fishing vessel Kim Nhi was requesting a medevac for a crewmember reportedly experiencing a medical emergency. An Air Station New Orleans MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter aircrew hoisted the crewmember during the medevac on March 6, 2023, about 180 miles offshore Pensacola, Florida.
