Coast Guard Medevacs Cruise Passenger Off Southwest Pass
A Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans MH-65 Dolphin aircrew medevaced a 53-year-old male passenger from the cruise ship Carnival Valor on Dec. 22, 2021. The ship was 218 miles south of Southwest Pass, Louisiana. The passenger was transferred to University Medical Center and was last reported in stable condition.
