Coast Guard Medevacs Cruise Passenger Off New Orleans
A Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans MH-60 Jayhawk aircrew medevaced a 53-year-old man from a cruise ship 230 miles south of New Orleans on June 25, 2023. The aircrew hoisted the passenger and the cruise ship nurse, then transferred them to University Medical Center New Orleans.
