Coast Guard Medevacs Crewman Off Brownsville Oil Platform
An MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Corpus Christi medevaced an ailing 28-year-old crewman from the Shell Perdido oil platform on Jan. 24, 2024. The platform was about 130 miles offshore Brownsville, Texas. The crewman had reportedly suffered an allergic reaction and was in stable condition.
