Coast Guard Medevacs Carnival Sunshine Passenger Off NC
A Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter aircrew medevaced a passenger experiencing symptoms of cardiac arrest from the cruise ship Carnival Sunshine on Sept. 1, 2025. The ship was at sea offshore of North Carolina. The aircrew transferred the passenger to a higher level of care in Norfolk, Virginia.
