Coast Guard Medevacs 2 Near Atchafalaya Bay
A Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter aircrew medevaced two boaters about 20 miles south of Atchafalaya Bay, Louisiana, on August 10, 2023. One of the boaters was having heart-related issues and was transferred to awaiting emergency medical services personnel at the University Medical Center.
