Coast Guard Hoists 3 from Sailboat Off Anclote Island
A Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter aircrew hoisted three people from a disabled sail vessel on Dec. 18, 2022, 96 miles west of Anclote Island. The three, a woman and two children, had no medical concerns and were taken back to the air station, where family met them. The vessel owner stayed aboard the sail vessel to wait for better weather conditions and sail back to shore.
