Coast Guard Finds Mariner During Santa Rosa Island Fire
A Coast Guard MH-60T Jayhawk helicopter crew from Air Station Ventura searched for a reported mariner in distress on Santa Rosa Island, California, on May 15, 2026, while flying over a fire. The crew located the mariner and brought the survivor to Camarillo Airport for further medical evaluation. No injuries were reported.  ·  ·  ·  ·
