Body Recovered After 3 Rescued at Playa Escondida
The search for a missing man ended Dec. 11, 2023, after local rescue crews located and recovered his body in the water off Playa Escondida Beach in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. A Coast Guard MH-60T Jayhawk helicopter crew rescued three other men in the same case on Dec. 9, 2023, after the group became distressed when they were caught and pulled by strong currents off Playa Escondida.
