Belgian Boater Rescued Off La Parguera
A Coast Guard Air Station Borinquen MH-60T Jayhawk helicopter crew rescued a Belgian boater on the evening of Aug. 23, 2022, after the 32-foot sailing vessel Efdhia, also listed as Edfhia, ran aground about three nautical miles southwest of La Parguera in Lajas, Puerto Rico. The boater was the only person aboard and had been on a voyage from St. Martin to the Dominican Republic.
