Air Station Sitka Finds Overdue Boater Near Table Bay
An MH-60 Jayhawk aircrew from U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Sitka located the motor vessel Sierra Dawn anchored in Table Bay, Alaska, on March 23, 2026. The boater had been reported several days overdue by a family member. A rescue swimmer swam to the vessel and the aircrew provided assistance to the boater.
