Air Station Astoria Medevacs Disney Cruise Patient 181 Miles Offshore
A U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Astoria air crew medevaced a patient from a Disney cruise ship on April 8, 2022, 181 nautical miles offshore near Astoria, Oregon. The patient reportedly had uncontrollable bleeding and was transferred to Life-Flight for further medical care in Portland, Oregon.
