7 Rescued from 143-foot Yacht Off Washington Coast
Coast Guard 47-foot Motor Lifeboat crews from Station Grays Harbor and Station Quillayute River responded May 7, 2022, to a 143-foot yacht taking on water 25 miles off the Washington coast. The yacht took on water and became disabled. Coast Guard crews rescued the seven people aboard. Coast Guard Cutter Active, a 210-foot medium endurance cutter, arrived on scene and began towing the yacht.
