623-foot Cargo Ship Aground Near Benjamin Franklin Bridge
The Coast Guard and partners responded January 10 to the 623-foot motor vessel Algoma Verity aground about a mile north of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge in Philadelphia. The vessel was northbound with about 45,000 tons of solar salt when it ran aground January 8, 2025.  ·
