5 Rescued After Two Vessels Capsize Off Toa Baja
A Coast Guard MH-60T Jayhawk helicopter and a Puerto Rico Police aircrew rescued three CBP marine interdiction agents and two boaters from the water off Isla de Cabras in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico, on the night of March 30, 2026. The agents had responded in 10-foot swells to rescue the two boaters from a capsized vessel when the agents' vessel also capsized, throwing the crew into the water. All three agents and the two boaters were treated for minor injuries. No other people were reported missing.
