3 Rescued After 16-foot Boat Capsizes in Nueces Bay
Three boaters were rescued April 8, 2024, after their 16-foot boat capsized in Nueces Bay near Corpus Christi, Texas. An MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Corpus Christi responded to the report and found the three men clinging to the hull. A rescue swimmer from the air station assessed and assisted them. The helicopter crew directed a Corpus Christi Fire Department boat crew to the boaters' location, and the fire boat crew transported them safely ashore.  ·  ·
