2 Rescued After Disabled Aircraft Goes Down Near Little Black River
A Coast Guard Air Station Savannah crew rescued two people after they downed their disabled aircraft near the Little Black River, South Carolina, on Dec. 7, 2024. Chatham County Fire Department also responded, but could not reach them because of shallow water conditions in the marsh. The Air Station Savannah crew transferred the two people to Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport with no reported medical concerns.
