2 Hikers, Dog Rescued in Deschutes National Forest
A Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter aircrew rescued two hikers and a dog in Deschutes National Forest, Oregon, on June 16, 2024, after one of the hikers reportedly sustained a knee injury. Those rescued were transported to Redmond Municipal Airport, where emergency medical services were waiting. They were in stable condition.
