Re: Nureintier's Paintings
You're quite talented. I've seen illustrations like this in horror role playing game rulebooks and modules as well as in horror magazines. They would definitely publish you in Midnight Magazine and on screamfix.com My favorites were the first one (reminded me of the super mutant "gore bags" from the Fallout games) and the Burtonesque Beetlejuice inspired piece. Thanks for sharing your work.

Re: Nureintier's Paintings
Gorgeous. I fucking love horror games. Resident Evil 2 was probably my favorite, though I loved the old Clock Tower game on PS1 as well. I used to daydream about making a horror game called "Movie Monster Kombat" that would be a fighting game with every horror character you could think of, both classic and modern. They've come pretty close with the latest Mortal Kombat games - they've got Freddy, Jason, Leatherface, Alien, and Predator now. I'd love to see them do just a horror one though with Chucky, Pinhead, Pumpkinhead, Myers, Candyman, Samara, the Grudge, The Nun...the whole shebang. Horror games have come a long, long way. Shadowgate, 7th Guest, Friday the 13th on NES...all fun in their day. Here's a great video you might enjoy...

Re: Nureintier's Paintings
cool, will check it out. i think too many mainstream games end up not taking any chances, so i've been paying more attention to indie games in recent years. watching vid now. here is another elton john. |
