The Last Decent (2016) on Prime Video
This movie was rather depressing, it was another one based on a true story. It's chronicles the plight of John Jones who became stuck in the Nutty Putty Cave near Elberta, Utah in 1999. He was exploring an un-mapped portion of the cave with a permit, but became stuck when he inhaled a bunch of air to squeeze past a part of it, when he exhaled, he became stuck. I would recommend this movie to anyone that like movies based on true stories where people are in really screwed up predicaments.

Re: The Last Decent (2016) on Prime Video
I was just thinking maybe you might consider making a separate forum for movies and television show reviews. Since this is kind of creative stuff from members, possibly another board could be for talking about and reviewing movies and shows?

Re: The Last Decent (2016) on Prime Video
What I do is, if a section like this were to get filled with a lot of a certain thing, then I would break it off to another forum. So if I notice in here, there ends up being a ton of threads on reviews, then yeah, it would get broken off to its own area and those threads moved there.

Re: The Last Decent (2016) on Prime Video
I get it. You know I watched this movie on Prime called The Ascent. I read your review above but only remembered a few things and apparently not the title and did not watch the trailer. I was watching The Ascent thinking it was a true story for about 45 minutes in to it and wondering when the cave diving was going to happen. Then it went all Lucifer’s brother. It was a low budget film and the video and some actors made that quite clear. My husband was like this is stupid about 15 minutes in to the movie. I fell asleep (because it was late and I had taken some sleeping stuff) but watched the rest in the morning. It was low budget and some actors sucked but it was a different storyline and not a sneaky religious movie as I thought it might be at one time. By sneaky religious film I mean those that are like that band Jars of Clay in the 90’s everyone thought had a great song until they stupidly bought the album. I never did but listened to my friend bitch hilariously how he bought it and tried listening to the whole album and it was all of this Jesus shit. He said they needed a religious warning like the Tipper Gore warnings Anyway, I will say The Ascent had an interesting plot line. Some of the actors sucked. One of the detectives my husband and argued over because I thought it was Tony Hawk and we had to look to settle. He was right. It did look like him though. I give it 6.5/10. It has a 7.5/10 on IMBD and I bet if I read the comments it would be because of interesting plot. I will not go into to it an spoil it for someone curious because the big reveal makes the movie watchable. |

No, like the WC but exclusively for talking about death. For example, helping others with finding out about certain cases, discussing specific cases, thoughts/views on anything death related. I made a thread asking about it last year: https://www.documentingreality.com/f...please-189867/
