Covers + Some of My Own Music.
Hi! My name is Rodrigo, I'm from Argentina and it's been a couple of years that I've been playing by ear most of the instruments that you can see in the photos and videos (from Youtube). I could say that my strength is percussion, although I am aware of my limitations / mistakes and the lack of proper musical study. I leave my channel that is where I try to upload most of my material Youtube Channel (which is often compromised by copyright, so there is another such amount of material that was not uploaded to the channel) I recently made a cover of Sonne by Rammstein (wich can't be upload) and curiously while I was recording there was a car accident in the corner of my block, I attached a video link (which I hope can be seen) where you can hear the accident (HERE) at that time due to the volume in which I was working I thought it had been a thunder until after a while I noticed the sound of the alarms of the cars that were parked and were hit (unfortunately I did not get to photocopy any of the accident) I also leave some tracks that I am working on (something like techno) which is not a musical genre in which I have a lot of experience, so they are my first approach to this kind of music. btw - Jupiter 8 is an experimental song that we are currently composing and constantly changing with a friend. The theme that we are trying to achieve is a "trip without return" to a planet named Jupiter 8 (in honor of Roland Jupiter 8) Any kind of recommendation or criticism will be welcome! If you have any questions about the instruments & the DAW / VST equipment I use in any of the songs/videos, just tell me! Salute! (Cheers) PS: Sorry for the use of google translator and the bleed in your eyes for reading this! |

Fine use of sampling and electronica. You must have a small fortune invested in your equipment. Very enjoyable. It has an 80s/early 90s feel to my ear, but I mean that in a good way. Best of luck to you in all your musical endeavors, and thanks for sharing. Your mixing skills are impressive.

Re: Covers + Some of My Own Music.
Thank you all for such kind words, in terms of the similarity with Gregorian Chant if we are talking about the song "Dap tarap dap" (I have to improve that name) there is a lot of similarity that I could hear in the choirs more than anything in the depth of voices and the changes of the harmony that goes from very bright as well as dark at times. On the other hand I am happy to read that it brings something from the 80s / 90s a great time for music and where I feel more comfortable composing / EQ & Mixing or doing covers. Unfortunately in this "beautiful" country can not be projected on a large scale (not at least for the middle class) a study with more professional equipment, I think I have about 3200 dollars invested that the change in value today (45 Argentine pesos ) are like 144,000 pesos all with sweat and tears leaving many "luxuries" and "comforts" aside I was able to get it ... and man every time I get home and I sit down to compose or get some song or see how far I have come since I started with my broken Ludwig Accent CS and some Sabian B8 back in 2011, it's a great feeling Thanks again for stopping to listen to my songs and for your time. |
