Two-ton Underground Cistern Lid Lifts Car in Gifu
On July 9, 2020, a two-ton lid from an underground rainwater storage cistern came loose in Gifu, Japan, lifting a car. One person was injured. The cistern was built about 7 meters below ground and could hold 6,200 cubic meters of rainwater.
