TPC Plant Explosions in Port Neches, Texas
An explosion struck the TPC chemical plant in Port Neches, Texas, at 1:58 a.m. Central Time on November 27, 2019, starting a major fire. The blast reportedly blew open doors and broke glass in the area. A second explosion occurred at about 2:08 p.m. All workers were accounted for, with no fatalities reported.
