Tow Truck and Semi Crash on I-41/94, August 26, 2019
On August 26, 2019, a tow truck was struck in a crash on southbound I-41/94 north of the Mitchell Interchange. The tow truck hit a wall, trapping its driver in the cab. The driver was extricated and taken to a hospital with serious injuries. The semi overturned. Its driver and passenger got out on their own with cuts to their heads and arms and were taken to a hospital. All southbound lanes were closed.
