Seized Fishing Vessel Hits Pedestrian Bridge at Ecuadorian Shipyard
In 2020, the Fu Yuan Yu Leng 999 struck a pedestrian bridge at the Ecuadorian Naval Shipyard after its pilot lost control of the vessel. The ship had been confiscated for illegal fishing and was being moved by the Ecuadorian Navy to the shipyard for maintenance.
