Seattle Crane Collapse Kills Four, April 27, 2019
A crane collapsed into traffic in Seattle on April 27, 2019, while crews were dismantling it at a building site intended for Google offices. The collapse occurred at about 3:30 p.m. and struck at least six cars. Four people were killed, including two people in vehicles and two crane operators. Winds were not considered strong at the time, with the highest reported gust at 23 mph.  ·
