Ringling Bros. Train Derailment in Lakeland, 1994
In 1994, the Ringling Bros. Circus train derailed while passing through Lakeland, Florida, after an undetected broken wheel picked a switch. Two people on board were killed and 17 were injured. No animals were injured, and the show continued as scheduled.  ·
