Richmond Hill House Explosion, Indianapolis
A house explosion in the Richmond Hill subdivision on the south side of Indianapolis was caused by a gas leak intentionally set as part of an insurance scheme. The blast killed a local teacher and her husband, damaged nearby homes, and was felt several miles away. The homeowner and accomplices were imprisoned for murder.  ·
