RAF Chinook Hits Power Lines in Wales, July 2020
An RAF Chinook struck power lines during a routine low-level training mission on July 28, 2020, near Llangynin, Carmarthenshire, Wales. The helicopter, operating from RAF Odiham in Hampshire, made an emergency landing in a field. The RAF reported minor damage to the aircraft. One crew member suffered minor injuries from broken glass.  ·
