Race Truck Explodes During Dyno Run in Ogden, Utah
A race truck built as a dyno rig exploded during a test in Ogden, Utah, on September 18, 2020. The diesel truck was targeting 3,000 horsepower at the wheels and had reached 2,920 horsepower before the engine failed and detonated. A person nearby quickly used a fire extinguisher.
