Mont Louis Cargo Ship Sinks Off Ostend After Collision
In August 1984, the cargo ship Mont Louis collided with the ferry Olau Britannia and sank 12 nautical miles off Ostend, Belgium. Mont Louis was carrying barrels containing 225 tonnes of uranium hexafluoride. The cargo was recovered.  ·
