Re: Man Records Tornado That Kills Wife
Andrew? Charley? Katrina? I'm not being a dick, I'm just making a point. I went through the first two, as well as MANY more (natural Floridian, yay) and they all were well over 130 MPH. I actually endured a tornado during Hurricane Charley..... That was a bitch and I also had my son with me who was 4 at the time. The same band on the backside of the eye destroyed my parent's home in which I grew up. A close family friend died as a result of the 4-storm streak that summer (2004). All's I'm saying is hurricanes are a bitch. You may have forewarning, but they last an inordinate amount of time and are never as predictable as you may think. Charley was supposed to hit above Tampa but ran right up Peace River and destroyed Hardee County where I live.

Re: Man Records Tornado That Kills Wife
Holy fucking hell on earth. My daughter and son in law live in Oklahoma City near Tinker AFB. Luckily, they have a shelter underground in the backyard. Still scares the shit out of me when they are in the line of fire. |

Re: Man Records Tornado That Kills Wife
We live in Dixie Alley and they are getting way worse as each year goes by. Last Christmas, we woke up to 80 degrees, then a cold front moved in and it brought a few tornadoes with it, then we got snow. All in the same day. In APRIL 2014, A HUGE WEDGE destroyed half of Tupelo then came to my home area, the destruction was horrific.
