Re: Handle With Care

It always amazes me how people think (or maybe they don't) "Oh, I'm going to keep this x,000 lbs from toppling over", "I'll just hold it" Just like people who don't wear seat belts - Can you safely run at 60mph into a brick wall? Sure, just hold your hands out and you'll stop yourself.
The tail end of yr comment reminds me of the time i moved my fridge so i could clean the floor under and behind it. So i move it and it's smack in front of the laundryroom entrance which used to have a door but I had removed that and put up long curtains. That lead s to the back door.

I went outside for something and used the front door. Once out I got distracted doing something else for awhile and once going back in i went the back way forgetting all about moving the fridge in front of those cuttains. Glad i had my hands out in front of me to part the curtains as i come thr u because I was zipping and theytook the brunt of that hit lol

Re: Handle With Care

It makes me think about the guy who was "holding onto" our ping pong table in the back of a fast moving pickup on the highway.
