Re: Gas Plant Explosion in Tianjin, China
Tried finding this on Google Maps, but no luck. Trying to see what the area looked like BEFORE the blast.

Re: Gas Plant Explosion in Tianjin, China
That is the biggest explosion I have ever seen. Look at the height of the fireball compared to the high-rise buildings! Probably more like 10,000 dead.

Re: Gas Plant Explosion in Tianjin, China
My favorite part the local regional government officials were actually trying to cover this up by confiscating cellphones and shutting down websites with videos on it. Took them a couple of days to realize its pretty hard to try and make everyone hush about a huge mushroom cloud explosion right next to a city. But according to articles like this one: https://aeon.co/essays/what-chinese-...bout-modernity These Tianjin explosions happen multiple times a year in China in rural regions, or at least thats what the article claims. Thats some next level chemical safety negligence. |
