The Jaipur police on Saturday recovered a chilling video of false ceiling crashing down on people who were dining inside a banquet hall of the Fortune Park Bella Casa hotel on Wednesday which had killed three people and injured several others.

According to Hanuman Prasad, additional DCP (east), there were at least two CCTVs inside the Jasmine hall of the hotel where the accident took place.

"One CCTV was at the corner of the hall which survived the crash. This footage was recovered from the same CCTV," he added.

The footage shows a packed dining area of the hall, when all of a sudden the ceiling falls down, leaving no time for people to escape.

"It shows how the entire ceiling fell like house of cards, with the supporting iron structure also breaking away from the roof and crashing down with the rest of the false ceiling it was affixed to.

Soon the panic had set inside the hall, with lights gone, people under the debris were screaming for help," a police official added.

According to the police, the one important fact that has emerged after examining the footage is that no loud music was being played at the time the crash.

This runs against the claims made by the hotel administration which had claimed that loud DJ sound might have triggered the crash.

Meanwhile, the hunt for hotel's owner has been widened. "If has nothing to hide then he shouldn't be on the run. We had gone to his house, but he was not there.

The search party has been sent find him," said Hari Shankar, SHO, Jawahar Circle Police Station. The police have also asked Jaipur Development Authority, and Jaipur Municipal Corporation to examine the details of the hotel.

The police have already arrested , Pradeep Uniyal, CEO of the hotel under section 304 and 336 of the IPC
