Crane Overturn After Embankment Failure in New Zealand
In 2010, a crane overturned in New Zealand when the embankment beneath it failed. The ground had been prepared and load-tested for the crane on the preceding Friday. Rain over the weekend weakened the compacted soil before the failure on Monday morning.
