Chromium-6 Leak Reached Detroit-area Highway in 2019
In December 2019, improperly stored chromium-6 leaked from a chemical storage facility in Detroit, contaminating the ground. The leak had reportedly been draining into the ground for at least three years before it was discovered after seeping onto Interstate 696.  ·
