Chicago Runaway Train Collision Caused by Water Intrusion
On September 30, 2013, an out-of-service train ran out of a Chicago service yard, entered the main tracks, and struck a train stopped at a station. The likely cause was water intrusion into the train's electrical control cable and electronics.  ·
