Chemical Plant Explosion in Tarragona, Spain
A chemical plant explosion occurred in Tarragona, Spain, at about 18:45. Ethylene oxide was reported to be involved. Residents were urged to remain indoors and close ventilation openings. Firefighters said the blaze could not be extinguished until the remaining ethylene oxide had burned off. The fire was reported under control, with no domino effect expected at that time.  ·
