Charged Electric Two-wheeler Battery Explodes in Wenzhou
On November 25, 2019, a battery from an electric two-wheeler exploded after being charged for about five hours inside a store in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. The explosion started a fire. Staff discovered the fire in time and put it out. No one was injured. The owner said the vehicle had been bought two years earlier and was normally charged this way. The merchant sent staff to investigate the cause of the fire.
