Re: Cars Crushed Under Collapsed Bridge
Three people were killed and two injured in eastern China when a highway overpass collapsed and crushed cars below it, local officials say. Videos posted online showed a large section of the bridge in the city of Wuxi, Jiangsu province, swaying before falling on top of moving vehicles on Thursday night. One clip posted on social media platform Weibo showed the bridge narrowly missing a small three-wheel car, whose driver leapt out and ran away. Other images showed crushed cars with only their front sections or headlights visible under a huge block of grey concrete. |

And these contractors are now in Philippines, building our bullet trains, our super highways, bridges, and lots of skyscrapers. I think i should move out of the Philippines soon.

Re: Cars Crushed Under Collapsed Bridge
That WOULD be pretty scary. And Chinese courts don't acknowledge any other country. You can't sue a Chinese in China unless you also are Chinese. |

Re: Cars Crushed Under Collapsed Bridge
This, right here, is my biggest (irrational) fear while driving, since seeing the bridge collapses during those bad earthquakes that happened in California several years ago now. Having a bridge fall on my vehicle and trap me in the little voids underneath would drive me insane. I really try to avoid it, but when I have to stop underneath a bridge, I ALWAYS stop where I would be crushed flat if it fell. That’s how claustrophobic I am. I’d rather die than be stuck in that situation! |
