Booster 7 Engine Test Explosion at Starbase
An explosion occurred during engine testing of Booster 7 at SpaceX's Starbase facility on July 11, 2022. Initial assessments indicated that nothing catastrophic had occurred. The launch pad was designed to withstand firing by 33 rocket engines, and damage, if any, may have been limited to ground-support equipment.
