Biotechnology Plant Catches Fire and Causes Explosion
According to official sources, a fire broke out at Zhongkun Biotechnology Co., Ltd. in Xinyang Industrial Park, Haicang District, at approximately 5:20 PM on August 12, 2025. Relevant personnel were promptly evacuated, resulting in no casualties and no toxic gases being produced. Leaders of the Haicang District Party Committee and District Government immediately responded to the scene to direct firefighting efforts. Emergency, firefighting, public security, and other relevant departments are currently conducting on-site firefighting operations. The cause of the fire is under investigation. |
