Bailey Bridge Collapses Under Construction Equipment in Uttarakhand
A Bailey bridge in Uttarakhand, India, collapsed on June 22, 2020, while a truck carrying heavy equipment for road construction near the India-China border was crossing it. The truck and equipment fell into a gorge. A person walking behind the truck reportedly escaped uninjured.
