Ammunition Depot Explosions Near Taraz, Kazakhstan
A fire broke out at or near a military warehouse in Bayzak district near Taraz, southern Kazakhstan, at about 7 p.m. on August 26, 2021. The fire was followed by a series of large explosions at the ammunition depot. At least 60 people were injured. The cause was not immediately known.
