Alonso Airborne After Power Loss Collision at 2016 Australian GP
At the 2016 Australian Grand Prix, Esteban Gutierrez's car suffered a sudden loss of power after running out of electrical energy. Fernando Alonso, following behind, could not avoid the slowed car and struck it. Alonso's car was sent spinning through the air and heavily damaged. Alonso exited the wreckage quickly.
