Accidental Dry Fire Destroys Compound Bow
A compound bow was destroyed after an improperly nocked arrow came loose from the string at a low shooting angle. With no arrow remaining on the string, the bow dry-fired and tore itself apart. The bow was brand new and still had its price tag attached.
