1848 Windmill Destroyed by Fire in Bovenkarspel
A functioning windmill dating from 1848 was destroyed by fire in Bovenkarspel, North Holland. The fire was attributed to fireworks. Firefighters said the mill's frame remained intact, and rebuilding was being considered.  ·
