Story About Burglary Gone Awry Resulting in Penis Amputation

I was wondering if anyone that lived in Singapore can post the full story about this incident, as it was pulled off the public web, and is only available in a Singapore microfilm archive in a library.

I want to know the details available about this case, because a lot of information is missing from it's Wikipedia page. We don't know if the woman was apprehended, nor do we have any information about how or why his penis was severed. (Did she do it after he was unconscious, or did it happen during a struggle?) I think it's also very likely the reason it wasn't reattached was because the woman took it with her, when she fled. I'm not sure why else her fleeing on a motorcycle, would be an important point.

On November 30, 1997 it was reported that on November 29, 1997, Friday, in Rantau Panjang, Kelantan, Malaysia, a Chinese boy, eleven years old, had his penis severed during a burglary in his house by a woman from Myanmar after she stabbed and then failed to suffocate him. She used a motorcycle to escape after her burglary bid went awry. The woman was a foreign worker. The Sin Chew Jit, a Chinese Malaysian newspaper, reported the incident. The boy's penis was not reattached although he survived.

I got a message from someone who said they worked with the local police when the case was originally filed.

They said that the woman was in the middle of stealing things from the house when the boy surprised her and they struggled. He started to try screaming for help, so she was trying to stop him screaming by stabbing him and holding a shirt over his mouth and nose. He kept fighting her and started to get some screams out that were well loud enough for neighbors to hear, so she got pissed off that he ruined her being able to steal the stuff she wanted. She said something along the lines of "Fine I will give you something to scream about!" Then she forced him up against a wall and shot one of her hands down his pants grabbing his penis, then with a knife she had in her other hand sliced it off at the base. She knocked him down and immediately got on her motorcycle and blasted off. The report stated that some drops of his blood were around the area that her motorcycle was when she started off, so they believe she did take it with her.

I was informed that they believe the young man has since committed suicide. Sad story. :\

I received a conflicting version of the report from someone else on another forum. Their memory of the report is mostly the same as the previous, but, they say that the woman threw his penis on the ground in front of him and stomped on it with her shoes, completely destroying it in front of him.

Oh, another message I got was that she caused him to pass out from holding the shirt, then she believed he was dead. She probably then decided to cut it of so she could sell it. Unfortunately, she was wrong and he woke up in the hospital with his penis completely gone, down to the base. If that's the true story of the incident I wonder if she knew he was only unconscious when she did it...
