Today this particular criminal has escaped from prison (again....) due to educational vacation, which he didn’ t return….

Yes, Finnish prisoner system allows education and open prisons. Life sentence in Finland is 12 years, and if you’re first timer then you may be released after half of your sentence time. And no, we don’t have death sentence...

This is real life story of Finnish homicide criminal Nikita Bergenström (former Juha Veikko Valjakkala, former Aslak Valdemar Ahonen, former Nikita Joakim Fouganthine ; . . . . born 13. June 1965 Pori, Finland)

Valjakkala became a part of the Finnish and Swedish criminal history in 1988, when he murdered three family members of Nilsson family in northern Swedish village - Åmsele, in cemetery.

Nilsson family’s only surviver was 11 -year-old boy who was sleeping in a tent at the happening time.

Juha Valjakkala and his girlfriend and accomplice Marita Routalammi (b. 1966 Pori) were in July 1988 Nordic countries most wanted persons.

Series of events led to the murder began when 22-year-old Valjakkala was released from prison in Turku on 1. May 1988 and set off on a discovery tour in Sweden and Finland with 21-year-old Marita Routalammi.

They arrived Åmsele at 3. July. At night Valjakkala stole a bicycle from Nilsson’s yard. 49-year-old Sten Nilsson, and his 16-year-old son Fredrick went after thief with his car.
Manhunt ended in the cemetery, where Valjakkala forced Sten and Fredrick, with a shotgun, to kneel. First he shot Sten, followed by Fredrick who begged mercy and tried to lie his age. Despite this Valjakkala shot him too.

The shots were heard up in the village. Family’s 42-year-old mother Ewa Nilsson went out to see what had happened. He saw that Valjakkala sat in the car and knocked on the window.
Valjakkala yanked the door open with such ferocity that Ewa fell, but got up and start running to escape. Valjakkala caught her and hit her with a shotgun so strongly, that it shattered.
He then stabbed to death Ewa by slitting her throat open.

Couldn’t find any deathbics from victims, so sorry - no gore ;)

Valjakkala and Routalammi was captured July 10. in Odense, Denmark.

If you get life in Finland you won't sit half the time in any situation. You will only get released if president pardons you. But in a way you're right, president on average pardons/releases lifers in 12-16 years.

This Nikita is scumbag, waste of air, he was sitting his life sentence around 20 years, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. He can't do anything right if he's free, after the murder sentence he hasn't killed anyone but showed what an ass he is in every another way.
He has a son too who admires his father. Can you imagine that?

In USA sentences are from different planet and there's killing ratio per capita twice as much. It's not about sentences.

All in all, Nikita is an example that pile of shit can walk too. Hell, in Finland it walks pretty easy even if the guy don't have any money.
